نحوه دریافت کمک برای دستور Git
git help [-a|–all|-i|–info|-m|–man|-w|–web] [COMMAND]
مثال: git help git
مرورگر را راه اندازی می کند و کمکی را در HTML نشان می دهد.
راه اندازی مخزن محلی و ایجاد فشار اولیه:
cd my_project
git init
git add *
git commit -m "My initial commit message"
git remote add origin git@example.com:my_project.git
git push -u origin masterمخزن پرداخت
git clone git://github.com/schacon/grit.gitبرای انجام تغییرات در مخزن محلی کافیست اضافه کنید تا commit کنید. اگر می‌خواهید شاخه/تغییرات محلی را به مخزن راه دور فشار دهید، کافیست دستور فشار زیر را انجام دهید.
git add --all git commit --all git push
دستور Push to Repository
git push <remote> <local branch name>:<remote branch to push into>
git push [--all | --mirror | --tags] [--follow-tags] [-n | --dry-run] [--receive-pack=]
[--repo=] [-f | --force] [--prune] [-v | --verbose] [-u | --set-upstream]
